Forever Chemicals Don't Belong in Your Raingear

1 minute read

Forever Chemicals are bad news because they don't break down - instead, they can build up, causing health problems that in many ways, we're just starting to learn about.

Forever Chemicals are PFAS - perflouroalkyl or polyfluoroalkyl substances. You may also hear them called PFCs, or perfluorochemicals, and older term for the same substances.

The best thing we can do is avoid creating more and buying more products with PFAS and find strong alternatives. We are very careful to stock gear that is free from PFAS.

Our raingear, softshell, and snowgear from sister brands Celavi (Classic Series), Colorkids (Taxi Series), Enfant, and Minymo have provided some great graphics regarding their testing for you to see:

Our rain gear is beloved by forest schools, nature kindergartens, and outdoor groups around the world. We hope it will find many more adventures with you as well! Find the right size here with our helpful fit guide!
